An Aspiring Artist

After carefully considering the project I wanted to undertake over the holidays, I decided a still
life scene was perfect for creating multiple detailed textures with Substance Software, and
shaders in Arnold.

The most interesting part was creating the teddy bear fur with XGen. I'm really happy with
the outcome having never used XGen before.

I started by grooming splines as seen above, and then really worked with expressions and modifiers to get the faux fur look of the bear. I had one description for the main fur, and another for the more straggly (is that a word?) pieces.
